Production Notes

Most of my legacy tracks were recorded on a PC with older versions of Cakewalk Sonar, with Reason instruments for the MIDI instrumentation. I've since switched to a wholly Mac-centric workflow, and have been forced to do a bunch of conversions through Cakewalk Next, although my preferred DAW right now is Ableton, even though I'm just using the Lite version, which is limited to 8 tracks.

There's also been a change to the way Reason VSTs work, which is forcing me to recreate patches and migrate MIDI files into the DAW. Annoying, but not quite as bad as the fact that certain instrument packs were part of Refill kits that I've lost track of over the years.
